That is an accurate and sharp analysis. Anyone who has read Shoshana Zuboff knows that this is true. My glimmer of hope: local AI agents. If someone no longer uses social media and only uses local AI, the AI agent can pre-filter information. That is at least better than being seduced into all kinds of things through web UI LLMs.
